  • jax: nah, it's ok, i was thinking about putting those other empty trays (or filled) w/out saran closer to the element. you never told me whether you tried it or not in all these 10 or so years. i remember watching the infomercial when you got it. that was like the first fullfledged infomercial, too, i think. those were crazy days.

i was reminesing (sp?) about the music prior to say '96. they just don't make some of the great poppy summer tunes anymore. one of the last great summer songs was like will smith ("in the summer time").'hiphiphooray' , 'today was a good day', ok, i take it back, i really liked lens' song a while back (steal my sunshine), no diggity was great, gin and juice, what's my name. anything by stp/blindmelon/lennykravitz

there was just something a little different in the 80's and first part of the 90's in music. just can't put my finger on it. we'll never have another terrance trent d'arby...

and there was a little something different about the 70's and early 80's. that was such a fun time. great funny shows on tv. and sorry but michael jackson back then...great. "i wanna rock with you..." and stevie wonder and earth wind and fire. terrariums. 3/4 length baseball shirts. mtv. magical cartoons. leg warmers. roller skating. and bringing up the rear...u2, madonna, ub40, duranduran.

ok, back to reality. went to the store and got breffast and lunch/dinner fixins for the weekend (club sandwiches and eggacheese bisquits). did i say i made bread puddin with all that freezer bread? yeah, i added the dried strawberries instead of raisins, but you can barely tell they're there. i also went for the bike ride (3 laps), cut the grass, trimmed my hair, and took one of the best showers.

SO, spidey.......survivor, you need to give us a play-by-play. you didn't call back last night, we missed survivor, guessing it was on wednesday but didn't know

and what do you want to do about lunch...do we go out or do we go seperate ways. and what order do you want to do the activities (what sean said?), are we all going in one vehicle?

    dickcarter, tropical

  • remenicing? remeniscing?

  • Who cares how you spell your words.  I'm gonna call you.

OOOOO, guess what just got ticks to RHCP/Snoop Dogg for Wednesday, June 11, 2003 7:30 p.m.  Gotta see them fore the get too old and stop touring, the the Bastard Boys.

  • rhcp=really happy cat people ?

cool! i bet that will be a great show..."snoopy doggy doawohawohawg'

  • I care how i spell my words...lol but i can never find my dictionary..the upstairs is too far away when i'm posting.

  • and i just hate spell check for some reason...lol... i don't trust it.

  • Red Hot Chili Peppers, silly!

  • oh cool, i've seen them before...i can't remember the year =bad

  • giveitawaygiveitawaygiveitaway,now.

there was this huge cook at shoney's, lewis, he would sing songs behind the line from time to time. one time i flipped the waitress microphone over to him (after i found out he knew giveitaway) and asked him to sing it in for us. he did. and i kept saying "do it again, do it again!" i am telling you, the 90's were the most fun in my life.

  • LOL, do it again!

  • What I got, you got to give it to your momma...

I think I still know all the words to that song. A definite show-stopper when I go out for Karaoke is when I do Sir Psycho Sexy... esp. since I've done it in some "country bars".

As far as music today goes... I'm hurting. Dying. It's so painful to listen to the radio anymore!

  • yeah...there is a lot of great stuff out there now. it's just, it seemed back then there were a lot more one hit wonders and there were also more bands that were continually coming out with stuff...

all the good bands right now are probably underground ... too lazy to search for the free mp3's of unknowns. like to do searches for similar bands or 'what eles did the people who bought this buy' at places like amazon.

indigenous is a neat band, makes me think of big head todd and the monsters/dave mathews type of stuff. the dungeon family...some funky. and i keep saying it...the gettaway people---happy, poppy, fun to sing to.

  • Still time left for a big summer hit.Maybe you can get Sean to play some guitar and tape it and ship it to every radio station in the country.Im sure someone would play it.That reminds me, we need a http://www.xanga/music directory. Or something.

  • somehow, I doubt my struggled guitar playing would make it onto the radio..
