and don't forget...the second stitch movie (remember last years' lilo and stitch), 'the stitch movie', is out tuesday the 26th!!!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

that's a smirk, not a smile.
so anyways...no, musee pics not ready yet. forgot to mention hm tried to cheer me up last week by giving me a pen that was a micro spirograph set also.
applied for a JOB...at the humane society...but not in the mood to follow thru. as in, i believe in shamanistic ways and believe that when you want to be invisible, somehow you put that out. we all know why.
made the purple shirt finally. also received some hand-me-down, larger clothes via 'rents. i'll donate many and the others i am cutting down to make other clothes.
finally getting a vacation. it'll be interesting to take it that time of year, and visit somewhere new.
some people try too hard. i don't watch doctor phil but i did once this week. it's nice to know the difference between being nice and being easy. i'm not easy anymore. that's good, we all need to have control over our own life sometimes.
since we haven't been able to take vacation since last year...and he has to use it or lose it, we are planning several small trips for the last of this year. or atleast 4 day weekends every month. seriously, we'll go and visit my peeps in florida, his in texas. finish fixing the house for sale, and get rid of all this crap we won't be starting over with.
been out of it, oops, we had tenderloin with yams this week and calzones last night (i made the calzones) (warm water, yeast, sugar, salt, oil, flour, filling, bake 375@21 minutes.
well...to recap in short hand the past 7 days
saturday-went to wax museum, guess i'll have to get pics up. so you won't go there. it's only good for getting out of the heat. this is of the rat next to the guy under the pendulum
sunmontue-helping his people move on sunday turned into sunday, monday and tuesday.skin itchy
wed-finally hit...what a pure joy having a dishwasher is. ick feeling...started with feeling slow and kinda exausted this week. i thought it was from all the m&d moving. then a dry throat spot.
thur-woke up with nasty sore throat...then headache then kinda nauseated. sickness i have. no energy. down for the count. had vita gumball, oj, chicken soup for lunch, bacon and bread for dinner. (sean had the double pizza)
fri- bit better. getting appetite back (subway screwed up both orders (drive-thru). wired a couple times...cameras' been fun. wanting more coffee.

oh and...got some j.pepper and bellpepper fruits growing. s looking forward to stuffed peppers again. made bread. washed. (that's the washer window while washing)
special non-sauce double-decker pizza: thawed frozen tomatoes, slid skin off. cut to pieces along with slicing a counter tomatoe. put in a bowl. add sprinkle of sage, crushed red pepper flakes, few dried bits of onion, garlic/salt/pepper. let it sit how long you can (mine, about 4 hours). then place half mixture on top tortilla on oven pan. add half cheese. place second tortilla on top. repeat, adding topping. bake 10-20 minutes @ 425.
update:
made that cake already....updating instructions...i used a 15x15 cake pan, it only took 15 minutes to cook!!! iced cake and icecream sandwiches....mmmmm i just can never get over how good and chocolatey this recipe is. i lost my sifter and it worked out fine. just mixed the dry ingredients before popping in pan.
back to the regularly scheduled program:
did i mention the neighbors who made the driveway across the street (and tore down that monster of a tree), didn't make it for their vehicles parked on the street? they made it for their jetskis.
also broke down and got a countertop dishwasher. we'll never have kids and it sucks to have waterlogged hands all the time. gettin' it from this place compactappliances.com. they have washer/dryers that are one machine, miniature washers, different counter dishwashers, PORTABLE ac units (a lot of it is called portable, but i think it all runs off a power cord), ice makers, fridges, etc. a lot of energy saving appliances.
helping the 'rents move this weekend. and probably gunna make that weird chocolate cake today (no egg, no milk), buy a pint of icecream. make icecream fudge cake sandwiches.i must make my own desserts...with less refined products... so they aren't AS terribly bad. cuz i'm not giving up sugar/desserts. since i bought a box of lard cakes (twinkies) this week. that's been going thru my head. floating twinkies
my cat has stinky-breath...and no i don't mean just catfood breathe i mean he-must-have-dead-roaches-fermenting-in-his-stomache-stinky. i think i'll put that foaming mouthwash in there. it brings him back to reality....about the fact that he's JUST A CAT, and should stop shredding the person who feeds him.
third installment:
sometimes it's dark in that place.
where the little deaths grow.
sometimes it is blindingly bright.
you can expect but not anticipate.
been busy. missed those activities this weekend. partially got rained out, had things to fix, and had a surprise visit from the 'rents.
<---was dying for sticky notes on my computer but without actual paper sticky notes. so h.m. went on a quest. it was successful (here). the thing he found was one where we can send sticky notes to and fro, and each sticky can be made specific...you can make them different colours, give them varying transparency, make them always on top, change font... and he found a nifty shorthand keystroke list (easy to make them all disappear or whatever)! mine look kinda like stained glass. piled on top each other. i need to clean up that desktop again...
working on a camp gear bag made of blue canvas (picture when it's finished and packed). has pockets inside for (stove) propane cans, thermos, lantern, flashlight, tent fix it kit, stove/stand, etc...

found some sweater material in remnant section, and a couple other fabrics to go with the patterns i bought yesterday...pattern packet of cargoshorts/pants/capris and shirt pattern to make a few different-but-same shirts.
changes are brewing for the site. long overdue. i'm growing.
the little deaths are everywhere and nowhere
they live in our brain and in our hearts.
the fine line between mysterious and weird.
ok, found a SOFT pretzel recipe to start with. it came from lunched. found a great page of conversions. may have used a total of more like 2 (or more) cups flour. and also added about a teaspoon of baking soda.
make warm water for the yeast (i don't have a thermometer, my tap water must be pretty good, or the yeast is). dissolve yeast in water. add yeast water to 1 1/2 cups flour, a teaspoon sugar, 2 teaspoons salt. it should be sticky like mine was (WAY), add more flour (1/4 cup or so at a time) and the teaspoon baking soda. you're kneading (i stir gloppily/loosely by hand with a fork, in the bowl) it for about 5-10 minutes.

leave it (or put it back in) bowl for about an hour for it to rise to double (i put some very warm water under the bowl in the sink, so i only let it rise for 45 minutes). above pics of rise process. start a large pot of water to boil and preheat your oven to 375.

i used lots of flour. the dough felt like powdered baby bottom, i know, GROSS! but seriously, it should be soft, powdered, not sticky, not over-worked. my cuttin' board wasn't quite big enough to get these to roll out long enough to make a BIG pretzel. so the pretzel up there is probably only about 3 inches wide.

once the water is boiling, you can toss the raw deals in there one at a time. count to 30. take 'em out. sprinkle with sea salt. throw in oven for 11 minutes (on a baking pan, lined with foil to make cleanup easier). after the first batch (first half of the dough), i was sick of making the pretzels. so the rest ended up being sticks. it ended up being 17 pretzels. minus the one i ate for lunch.

ok, so like, any cheese people out there? i wanna make a cheese bath to dip these in, but everytime i try to melt cheese, it either burns, turns to rubber, dithers, or otherwise just comes out nasty.
i ended up getting paces' 'salsa con queso' in a jar. seriously. if i'm gunna use something not cheese, that'll do.
caustic-i can melt chocolate, np, melting the cheese sucks though. i burned my double broiler last time i tried to make melted cheese.
