  • update:
made that cake already....updating instructions...i used a 15x15 cake pan, it only took 15 minutes to cook!!! iced cake and icecream sandwiches....mmmmm i just can never get over how good and chocolatey this recipe is. i lost my sifter and it worked out fine. just mixed the dry ingredients before popping in pan.

back to the regularly scheduled program:
did i mention the neighbors who made the driveway across the street (and tore down that monster of a tree), didn't make it for their vehicles parked on the street? they made it for their jetskis.

also broke down and got a countertop dishwasher. we'll never have kids and it sucks to have waterlogged hands all the time. gettin' it from this place compactappliances.com. they have washer/dryers that are one machine, miniature washers, different counter dishwashers, PORTABLE ac units (a lot of it is called portable, but i think it all runs off a power cord), ice makers, fridges, etc. a lot of energy saving appliances.

helping the 'rents move this weekend. and probably gunna make that weird chocolate cake today (no egg, no milk), buy a pint of icecream. make icecream fudge cake sandwiches.i must make my own desserts...with less refined products... so they aren't AS terribly bad. cuz i'm not giving up sugar/desserts. since i bought a box of lard cakes (twinkies) this week. that's been going thru my head. floating twinkies

my cat has stinky-breath...and no i don't mean just catfood breathe i mean he-must-have-dead-roaches-fermenting-in-his-stomache-stinky. i think i'll put that foaming mouthwash in there. it brings him back to reality....about the fact that he's JUST A CAT, and should stop shredding the person who feeds him.

    third installment:

sometimes it's dark in that place.
    where the little deaths grow.
    sometimes it is blindingly bright.
you can expect but not anticipate.

  • i'm convinced that smell is the smell of our own decomposing flesh caught in his teeth!

Noticed that jetski BS yesterday. dammit all to hell...

    oh well:

  • karma works....just remember that. your neighbors will come back as trees to be cut down for someone elses USED jetskis.

stinky kitty? dear....my doggie has been having a little of that pooch breath. i give him crunchy biscuits and veggies like carrots. that seems to help? maybe your kitty likes veggies?

nice poem...i'm feeling a little like death about now (clutching coffee in hand,...sputtering and coughing up last remaining chunks of my cold...)

have a great weekend to you and the SM

  • That cake looks good.  What time did you say you were going to have that tonight?

LOL at sean's decomposing flesh comment, ew.

  • sean may get home early, so we may have it early! i was contemplaying having it for lunch. bad death, bad!

  • I don't want you to be sorry for your life and how it has evoled, nor do I want you to have to tell me "sorry" for anything.  I would like to apologize to you for any and all of the hurt that I have caused you in the past and would like to move forward from this moment.  You have your life and I have mine and they have split directions.  For me, that is ok.  I don't want to fight or argue anymore.  I would like the four of us to be ok with our directions in life.  I know T and I abandond our friendship in the past but I feel like T and I have both tried to mend fences.

The choices I have made have always been for my growth mentally and to strengthen the bond with my husband.  If it seemed selfish, maybe it was but it was something I needed at that time.  If it looked like I didn't look back, it was because I never doubted my friendship with you.  I can only apologize for my past action, I can not change them.  I can mold my future and I hope this is the right step in the correct direction.

  • That cake does look delicious. What kind of people pour a driveway for jetski's? Good grief. As for your cat, I can't think of anything that would make his breath that bad, besides the flesh, of course.

  • I had to immediately go check out compactappliances.com.  Thanks!  That stuff is just perfect for my soon-to-be-all-up-in-the-air lifestyle.

  • I picked up some of that tortilla flour and I have decided to not buy other bread produces for now to see if I can live without them.  I got "El Real" brand.  I have not had time to use it yet but I am hoping to use it soon.  Walker absorbs lots of time and energy.  I am not used to be "on" 24-7.  It is a new way of living for me.  Everyday he is changing.  He has a tooth, is rolling all over the place, and is on is knees rocking back and forth.  He rasberried my arm the other day and mom-in-law almost fell out of her chair laughing.  He makes me laugh most of the time but he sure can get on my last nerve quite often.

That cake looks delicious.  The appliants thing sounds cool.  I will have to look into that.  It could have some good things for our house.

  • My kitten has taken to wrapping his legs around my calf in an attempt to keep me from passing thru doors when he wants my attention. It was cute at first, now its driving me nuts. Gotta love the little buggers..

  • i never thought i liked dishwashers.... turns out i never had one that worked!

when we moved into our new apartment we got a new dishwasher (well it's not "ours" but whatever) and holy crap!! you can put a freaking kitty litter box in their and it will come out clean!! (ok slight exaggeration) but seriously... a good dishwasher is were it's at.

however microwaves... I can and do live without. I don't have one... don't want one.

.... so no kids in your future huh?
