yup. vacation coming up. first some pictures. i just got finished working another 7 days in a row. got two very cool things (to me) caching this time. a little metal rooster and an even smaller coyote of pewter or silver or something. we racked up 7 finds this time. brings us to 21, i think?

the mango of city of rocks ^
that's what i love about city of rocks. the rocks resemble so many things. there's one that looks like an alien head. and there's this huge one we saw today that resembled exactly a ... nevermind. but it did look just like it...darn, i'll have to get a picture of it next time.
the rocks below look like they're having this heavy conversation about the one to the far right. like it's caesar or something.

so. vacation. do we follow the continental divide. tour ghost towns. head for the ocean. camp in arches. travel through reservation land.
who knows. i don't.
still thinking on getting someone to house sit (not sure who would want to stay way out here for a week). or to let previous owners have the dog to their place for a week (don't want her to pick up bad habits). neighbor to tend to cats(scared of her falling on stairs, or cats escaping).
