  • here's the view from massacre peak.

    made a tile bg picture from it's rockface we climbed up to get to a cache.

    the 'wind and water' cache site is the second picture.
    where we placed our first cache, near an abandoned mine, is the third picture.

    i finally have a local clinic to go to when i'm ailing. got violently ill a week ago. right after coming back from massacre peak. ended up being a stomach bug that i musta got from work. she put me on the baby diet (bananas, crackers, applesauce), manzanilla tea (mexican version of chammomile), and gatoraide. i went without chocolate for 5 days. everyone at work missed me. warms the soul.

    many changes at work. got the eval. raise. new front end boss. lead super moved to different dept. soon to get new lead. people switching to and from overnight/day shifts. many want me to apply for lead. i don't.
    the other day a guy came in buying serenity...the book. he didn't have change... being a fellow fff. i told him "i got it" yae! good deed for the day.

    going to enjoy these days off!!! geocaching, shopping, finish a netflix movie started last night (ran, akira kurosawa take on king lear story). decided to start taking pictures of rocks instead of keeping them, do some of that. reading some firefly fanfic. and sleep, i'd like to slip some sleep in there too.

    new year. i'm up for eval soon, which means it's almost vacation time!!! today a co-worker wanted to try and dump work on me by asking "d, would you like some extra responsibility?" i was like "nnnnno" and walked away to continue my already busy, full work day.
    as if.
    why should i want to turn  into a whiney baby who doesn't like my job, complaining and knowing that people don't want to work with me because i call in all the time because of my miserable-ness.

    SO. for the holidays: HE was surprised with a new digital camera. i was surprised with a new toys...knitting needles, yarn and other accoutrements for the craft. and i got the serenity movie, to complete the dvd collection.
    the browncoats website will be no more. the signal is being lost. sad sad sad.
    zoe is teething... dropping baby teeth all over the house, well atleast two i was able to find and save. yesterday she looked miserable..small dark eyes, you could just tell her mouth hurt. she's leaving specs of blood on her 'yo quiero dog' stuffy. she lost her 'baby' we got just before the big trip (a stuffed cat with a squeaky in it). we cannot find it anywhere.
    we are officially geocaching now. we've found and traded at 6 local ones. fun thing to do in this place.
