I saw a show the other week about the world's top 10 bugs to eat, and they showed peasants in Thailand making a living on catching big juicy grasshoppers for selling to the street vendors. The street vendors then give them a wash and a dip in hot oil and sell them rather quickly. I couldn't help but think how much money could be made on a typical summer texas day with the size of the hoppers i've seen. LOL
i like to try things but i just dunno if i could do a grass hopper. i'd have to be VERY hungry , i think. i only ever tried ants and they bit me.
Watermelon on the barb? Seriously ?
*mind boggles*
Was it just there for storage or did you seriously cook it ? How'd it taste ?
Nah.
*drinks coffee and tries to wake up*
great pics! and i'm with gaz on the whole watermelon thingy...tell us more about it!
That is a creepy looking spider. And what is that snail doing?
acrobatics.....spidey...leaf walking
The bridge looks cool from that angle. Nicely done photos. I saw the one picture which you did recently of the hat. Something like that is something you need up here in Illinois when winter comes around.
