    how death's garden grows

when i was in 1st grade (or so), i was in a play. it had all the popular childrens rhymes in it. had a cold and couldn't get anyone to listen to me, that i needed kleenex before i performed. had to wipe my nose with my sleeve (which you're always told NOT to do) and i would suck it down, back into my throat cuz i was crying over not being able to get relief. as soon as the play was over and mother came to the stage i sobbed "CAN I PLEASE HAVE A TISSUE NOW?!!!" i was mary.

    Mary, Mary, quite contrary,
    How does your garden grow?
With silver bells and cockle shells,
And pretty maids all in a row.

    zucchini

    tomatoe

    caladium sprout and pineapple

    eggplant and dahlia

not included are the other decorative plants and the potatoes. oops and the bell peppers and jalapenos...they don't look as great.

can you believe i had the peppers and the other peppers and the zucc all together in the zucc washtub. neither can i, glad i transplanted when i did!!! i have two little tomatoe plants i got from clippings off the big ones. maybe i am getting a green thumb.

stoopy poopy counter top people....they LIED. they said it would not make a difference that we had to choose another formica because the one they originally let us pick was discontinued. we won't get it til next week. so i'll do tomorrows post today.

and i can't believe, if i were a font, i'd be wingdings. i forgot the weblink, sorry. it said i was weird. i'm not weird! i mean it isn't offensive of a word or anything, but seriously, weird is a murderer, you know...

  • Wish I could grow a garden myself too... Bah, in a city it's nearly impossible... -_-!

Oh yeah, eggplants rule!!!!!!! !!! (Well, all vegetables for that matter!!!)

    June ^_^

  • Hey, I have a popular rhyme:

    Lowes blows.

  • lol @ sean

...they are shmoes, and should kiss my toes

  • UGH, didn't read this post before I commented on the last one last night.  Dumb ol people.  And your plants look great. Yae for the calladiums, I planted mine a week before I gave you that and I don't even have sprouts that big!

  • spidey...the ones you gave me had these tee-niney sprouts on them (about 1/16th of an inch), i aimed that toward the sky, loosely packed the nutrient deficient bulbs, watered everyday. when i saw this one come to the top, i put a leaf over it so the sun wouldn't burn it. still waiting on the other two to sprout up. having an office mate might end up being fun!!! maybe you'll have a lunch partner!!!

  • I have friends who always said, "You're really weird ... but in a good way."  So I generally don't take offense.

  • Nice poetry start.....even if it's in the comments section!  LoL!

Plants in pots = a mobile garden.

  • Damn poopy counter people!!

Don't worry, I scrubbed before I came in

  • fried eggplants yuummmmmmmmm

  • I think it's too cute that you played Mary and you have a garden now. Talk about foreshadowing.

  • i luv that dahlia, the caladium too ( i just replanted mine) and you already have tomatos.. im soo jealous :~)

  • I never really had much of a green thumb. I think im going to try my hand at a small flower garden this summer.
Maybie Ill do baeeter at that than poor looking houseplants. RE:your comment.. I think your right. why should I worry what others think? I should just be myself and "screw it" if somebody else dont like it. My blog aint here to please the rest of the world. Thanks, Al
