  • i almost forgot, ok i did forget, so i came back. to post the picture of the yellow cake with choc. icing i have been craving. actually craving it for many years now. just never got around to making it til now. it was good, but i should have put all the icing on it. i'll have to put extra frosting on it one serving at a time time


    shiftyclawfuljust finished watching/running across 20 women in faerie dresses ice skating to a song from nightmare before x-mas.


    there's gunna be a new animated movie out!!! sinbad (...and his adventures or somesuch)!!!!!!!


    ok, so i shoulda had the music question be which album. actually i like a lot of the songs equally but the test made me pick one answer that had the highest score. if i had to pick an album, that would still be hard. but because it is a double size album, i'd pick physical graffiti. my favoritest song for a very very long time was good times bad times. the song remains the same is double size too, but the lengths of the songs are long. i love the wanton song also. custard pie, misty mountain hop, nobodys fault but mine, boogie w/ stu, hotdog, bonzo's montreaux (yes, moby dick, too).

    everyone OK? it seemed very empty on xanga yesterday :D .


    openlavenderroseshopefully it will be great weekend. i know there must still be tons of things we've been putting off around the house/fix-it list. it's been too dark for me to get a good picture of the bathroom upstairs, it's finished! there's even a hanging plant up there and another plant in the window. we just need a mediterranian landscape picture to really bring it home!

  • i am so glad for YOU it is friday also. you need a vacation that i can tag along with. that thing sp and br are doing next week sounds good, maybe we do something special one day? cats can make it one day. i been cutting the grass, so it's not like we'll have tons of things to do.

    and yes, worl market sounds good, but before we go there, we ought to check out marshals and tjmax. they have inexpensive pictures, they may have just the thing. i know world market will be pricey, i use it as a last resort.

  • Oh yeah, pick to go there when I'm not around.    That's a bunch of blooms you have on that rose bush, mine has been growing a bunch of leaves but no buds yet.

    I think my favorite song would be kashmir and album... man they're all so good.  I guess physical graffiti or zoso.  I played that one out when I worked at Pop's cause it was the only one on the jukebox.

  • yeah, the fourth album (untitled on purpose, but some people call it zoso or 4 symbols, etc.) is the most overplayed, over requested, overbought album they have. i had it on vinyl when cd's didn't exist, but when i switched over to cd, i decided that would be one of the last albums i get.

    yeah, i know we wanted to go to worldmarket the last two weekends, but we haven't been able to get to it til this weekend (hopefully). you aren't missing much. i mean, it's like pier one, well, actually it is like world bazaar, but i only knew of that in florida, so y'all here in new orleans may not be familiar with it. i don't know what exactly you would be interested in there. the pictures are kinda pricey, mirrors too. they have folk art. alcoholic beverages, dishware, kitchenware, insence and candles (not as inexpensive as the quarter), and some dining tables and chairs, oh and a few import food items. the only reason i suggested it toy'all to begin with was more or less to get winde for your mother in law for mothers day. and to maybe look at the scrollwork napikin holder, and i believe they had a scroll work fruit stand.  but i saw the same fruti stand in one of my catalogues too...

    I don't know if its so much noone bein on Xanga, as it is Xanga PMS'n.  Don't know about others but Im noticin some serious Lag and "page cannot be displayed" shit.

    BTW, I used to love backpacking and would go for a week or two at a time.  Even had my hunni going for awhile.   We usually saw no one, but lots of animals.  We loved it!!!
