  • i like long tenderloins over shoulders. last night i tried a shoulder, wasn't bad, not dry, just not as wonderful as i had imagined all day long after 'making groceries'. did a few more dried apples...added cinnamon and sugar to the top and let them dry like that......applejacks, they taste like apple jacks!!!

this cacti grew two more arms in the past 2 weeks. the amarillis is partially opened. and 'duhn duh duh duhn' the rose bush has started sprouting new stems!!! had to get some insecticide anyhow because there were flies all in the back yard. last time i had fly-things, they laid eggs on my plants and were eating thier leaves. this time i said NO. including hyacinth picture today.

picked up a small statue of a cat that looks like our big girl waiting to go outside, kitty yoga, boy cat looking out back for birds, girl being sweet, me planting.

  • I thought the shoulder was pretty good... can't wait to see what we concoct with the leftovers... I bet we... HEY! Who took the picture of you planting??

  • Your blog is so lovely!!! I love flowers a lot too, and the pic with the cat's paw on your hand is just adorable!!! Many props for you!! ^_^

  • i took it with the remote. i know it's a little, um, what's the world? i dunno, but any picture that resembles d.d. in the comic book (look or spirit), i like to post.

thanx leonheart, glad you enjoy it!

  • Your contortionist cat with the white belly ()) looks just like my cat Tux...

    mmmmm Apple jacks

  • awa, dap, cool. black and white cats rawk, mine is named dominoe.

  • That statue and baby girl are too funny.  Roast sounds good.  How was your weekend?  Mine was full of ummm crap.  Next time we talk I'll have to tell you in person or over the phone.  Way too much to write out. Yae for stems on the rose bush.  I planted some stuff this weekend and picked up all of the leaves on the ground by my roses and I cut off all of the ones with brown spots, hope that makes them go away.

  • goodluck, but i am sure your rose bush will be fine. it's made it this far!!! my weekend was aggravating, it took us theĀ  whole weekend to put up that damn chair railing. but the bathroom is cute now. `i get more done on the weedays believe it or not. we rearranged the furniture in the front room, finally, last night (monday). i have been on an eatting deal. i just can't seem to shove enough food in my face lately...

  • meow. I will tell my mom about this site, she is interested in flowers lately.guess it is sort of a substitute for the psychological therapy she refuses to get

  • I love tenderloin!  Cut the meat into little "finger" steaks (with no bone), sautee with mushrooms, onions, and potatoes until the potatoes just about cook up.  Then put it all together with some barbeque sauce and spices in a crook pot for a few hours.  Mmm, mmm, good!

Oh no!  I made myself hungry!  But you started it.

  • Awesome photos. I keep thinking I've put Gryf up on my site, but none of the kitties. Sis' is a poser. Quite amusing. Maybe yours got all of our cats' cuteness though....ours tend to be little hellions 98% of the time.

I almost forgot! I'm glad you said something about your rose bush because Mom mentioned something this past week when she was down and I wanted to pass it on. She asked me if I knew *how* to prune the roses back or take cuttings. I had just assumed you went for the dead stuff. Which is true, but apparently grandma and great grandma (greenhouse family - they tended the roses) taught Mom that you clip right above the grouping of five leaves. In the case of pruning the sick or dead leaves back, I'd personally do it the way you did. I'm going to try and remember the five leaves thing when I cut for the vase or to float the roses, though.

  • You're awesome. Thanks for your kind words! Your flowers and your cat are lovely. ^_^
